Alex Millmow is an expert in Australian economics and Australian economic policy. He was formerly an associate professor in economics at Federation University Australia where he is now an honorary research fellow and is also an honorary research fellow at the School of History, Australian National University. He is currently President of the History of Economic Thought Society of Australia (HETSA) and a member of the Editorial Board of Australian Universities Review. Alex’s research interests include the economics of Joan Robinson, the making of the Australian economic profession and the role of economic ideas in steering public policy "
