DESCRIPTION:The Women in Economics Network in Victoria is excited to extend a warm invitation to you for the first coffee meet-up of 2026. This is a chance for members to catch up over a cup of coffee and meet fellow friends and economists\, including this month's eminent economist\, Amy Auster\, CEO of Policy Institute Australia.
Amy Auster is the inaugural CEO of Policy Institute Australia. She has previously served as Managing Director at Scyne Advisory\, Partner at PwC\, Chief Adviser at the Commonwealth Treasury and Deputy Secretary at the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance. Earlier in her career she worked as a market economist and senior executive at ANZ and JPMorgan. Amy is a Director of the Asylum Seeker Resource Centre and a Trustee at the Victorian Trust for Nature. She holds a Bachelor of Arts from Northwestern University in Chicago and a Master of Economic and Finance from Columbia University in New York. 
All members are welcome. Feel free to extend this invite to friends and colleagues.
