DESCRIPTION:Our next Policy in the Pub event will be held on Wednesday 22 July at 5.30 PM at the Imperial Hotel on the Corner of Bourke and Spring Streets.


Jonathan Coppel will talk on the PC's report on Childcare and Early Childhood Development. Jonathan will look at the relationship between childcare and workforce participation\, the constraints facing governments\, families and childcare providers and the implications of different policy design options.
Jonathan has been a Commissioner at the Productivity Commission since 2011. He is an economist with extensive experience advising in macroeconomics\, energy\, social\, environmental and foreign investment policy. He has also worked at the Treasury\, the Reserve Bank and the OECD.
