Join Impact Labs at Monash Business School for the official launch of FinTech Lab, an industry-engaged research and innovation hub dedicated to advancing financial technology (FinTech), digital finance, and trusted financial systems. The Lab is a collaboration between Monash Business School, the Faculty of Information Technology, and Monash University Malaysia’s School of Business.

The event will introduce the Lab’s vision, strategic priorities, and research agenda, outlining how its work fits within Monash’s broader research and innovation landscape. It will highlight why FinTech matters as an enabling infrastructure for modern economies, and how collaboration across business, technology, and industry underpins the Lab’s approach.

Senior leaders from Monash University, Monash Business School, and the Faculty of IT will provide their perspectives, followed by presentations from the FinTech Lab Directors outlining the Lab’s focus areas and pathways for engagement.

The event provides an opportunity for researchers, industry practitioners, and policymakers to gain a shared understanding of the Lab’s purpose and direction, connect across disciplines and sectors, and explore opportunities to participate in the FinTech Lab’s research, projects, and collaborative initiatives.
