Join the ESA Young Professionals for our end of year event as we seek to pre-empt the Christmas rush of events and celebrations.

This year, we’ll be going on a Diminishing Returns Pub Crawl – what does that mean?

We are aligning our utility curves against the prices offered by suppliers. Each bar has to offer drinks at lower average prices than the last venue. Over the night you’ll be able to chart your price paid and satisfaction accrued across a number of venues.

Combined with a scavenger hunt and a few economics-related trivia questions, compete for a mystery top prize (we are aware we are using our monopoly facilitator role to create information asymmetry).

We are opening invitations to all those either working or interested in a career in economics, including those in adjacent jobs or looking to graduate in the near-future.

Cost: $5 members, $10 non-members - inclusive of one drink at Cabinet Bar (login first to receive the member rate)

Location: Cabinet Bar (11 Rainbow Ally, Melbourne CBD) – subsequent venues will be provided to registered attendees ahead of the event.
