On 3 May the Victorian Government will deliver its 2022-23 Budget. What are the policy priorities for the final Budget of the Andrews’ Government’s second term, and what does the Budget say about the state of the Victorian economy as we emerge from the pandemic?
Please join us at the Treasury Theatre as we welcome Chris Barrett, Deputy Secretary of Economic Division at the Victorian Department of Treasury and Finance, to present an overview of the Budget, followed by a question and answer session.
Chris Barrett is Deputy Secretary of Economic Division in the Department of Treasury and Finance which is responsible for economic policy, revenue and service delivery. Chris was previously CEO of Invest Victoria, where he led both the Victorian Government’s approach to investment attraction and the Economic Recovery Mission in response to COVID-19.
