The second iteration of ESAYP's learning showcases focuses on presenting economic information. Our speakers will demonstrate best practice in the two main ways economists and policymakers present information:

  • Will Mackey (Grattan Institute) will talk about how to present data and the principles underpinning visualisations of different kinds of data.  The process for doing good data vis and a run through of open source programming techniques will also be presented.
  • Dr Dana Hutchins (PwC) will provide guidance on how to write about economics and technical concepts concisely, clearly and accurately, including examples of poor and excellent writing. Dana is a Director in PwC's Economics and Policy team and holds a PhD in Economics from Stanford University.

Please register for this free event (which will include a pizza lunch).
