Analysis of data is one of economics' most important tools, however, also one that is seen to be inaccessible. ESAYP and WEN are proud to present an econometrics showcase, featuring an applied workshop and discussion of four fields of econometrics. Join us on Wednesday 24 October at the Department of Treasury and Finance from 12:00 to 1:30pm featuring four sessions plus a light networking lunch.
Sessions will provide an overview of the field, run through common pitfalls and an example using a real-life policy problem. Speakers and topics:

These sessions are intended to be accessible to anyone with basic economics skills who are interested in learning about the different forms econometrics.
