Family, work and policy

With female labour force participation steadily increasing over the past few decades, it has become more and more important to ensure social and workplace policies support men and women in combining work and family. Guyonne will provide some recent statistics for Australia, compare with other countries, highlight important issues for different groups of men and women, and discuss the impact and importance of social and workplace policies for economic and social well-being of individuals, families and society.
