Women in Economics Network Victorian Launch

The Women in Economics Network (WEN) is launching in Victoria!

WEN has been formed to promote and support the career development of women in the economics profession in Australia.

The launch event is an opportunity to find out more about WEN and to connect with others in the economics profession, including women working in the private sector, government, academia and teaching.

Our guest speaker, Fairfax Senior economics writer Jessica Irvine, will share her perspectives of the gender balance in the economics profession.

Men are also welcome to attend the launch event. Please note that attendance is free but registration is required.

There will be pre-drinks starting at 5pm at Slate Bar (9 Goldsbrough Lane, Melbourne) followed by official launch event and guest speaker address from 6pm at Deloitte Access Economics (550 Bourke Street, Melbourne)
