A lecture hosted by the Centre for Development Economics and Sustainability, Monash University, the Department of Economics, Monash University, and the Asian Development Bank (ADB). This lecture will be presented by Shang-Jin Wei, Chief Economist of the Asian Development Bank (ADB), with the opening remarks and welcome presented by Professor Colm Kearney, Head of Monash Business School. The lecture will conclude with a short question and answer session. Mr Wei is the chief spokesperson for ADB on economic and development trends, and leads the Economic Research and Regional Cooperation Department, which publishes ADB's flagship knowledge products.
